UpGarden P-Patch

The UpGarden Giving Garden will receive our tomato starts this week and will be ready to be plant on Saturday. Please stop by and help, this Saturday from 10am – 12pm. In addition to tomato starts, we will also plant round 2 of radishes, beets and carrots. We hope to see you there! Please contact Anna Loewin (310-430-8159) for more information.

General garden operations, as well as updates from team leads and project managers on all active projects. If you are an area lead or a project team lead, please attend! All gardeners and volunteers welcome, as always.

HELP US PLANT A COMMUNITY GARDEN & MEET NEW FRIENDS!

This meeting will be focused on leadership and is intended for the Area Leads or those who are interested in getting involved in leadership. We are meeting on April 25th, at 7pm in Room 311 in the Seattle Center Armory/Center House, upstairs overlooking the food atrium (map below). Layne from the center will be with us at the beginning to go over any center questions and to outline their expectations that can help shape a new gardener orientation script. I (Sandy) have been filling plots, so hopefully folks have been contacting you all to get shown around.

Meet in the Food court of Armory/Center House. We'll discuss needs and projects for the upcoming season. Everyone is welcome!

Help clean up and organize construction materials and other items to prepare for the growing season. Great opportunity to get some volunteer hours!
